Botanical Name: Ornithogalum umbellatum

Position: Full sun to part shade. Choose a sheltered position with good air circulation.

Climate: Suitable for cool, temperate and Mediterranean climates. Tolerates light frost.

Planting Time: Autumn to early winter.

Watering: Water thoroughly after planting, then keep soil lightly moist while plants are actively growing. Avoid waterlogging. Reduce watering once foliage begins to die back and keep bulbs relatively dry during dormancy.

Flowering Time: Spring.

Fertilising: Apply a balanced fertiliser or blood and bone at planting. Feed again when growth appears and after flowering to encourage healthy bulb development.
