Botanical Name: Ornithogalum arabicum

Position: Full sun to part shade.

Climate: Suitable for all climates except tropical regions.

Planting Time: Autumn to winter.

Watering: Water after planting and only as needed if soil becomes dry due to insufficient rainfall.

Flowering Time: Spring to summer.

Fertilising: Incorporate an organic or complete fertiliser into the soil before planting.

Soil: Well-drained soil with a neutral pH.

Pests: Generally pest free.

Growing Tips: Individual bulbs will gradually form clumps up to 30 cm wide over several years. Bulbs can be left undisturbed for many years and will naturalise well in suitable conditions. If lifting and storing bulbs, wait until flowering has finished and the foliage has died back. Store bulbs in a cool, dry place and replant when conditions are suitable.
