Siberian Iris (Iris sibirica) will take your breath away. Showing off large flowers in truly amazing colours, this easy care plant will add a bright spot in any garden. The grass-like foliage grows in a neat clump, with tall elegant stems.
Extremely hardy, Siberian Iris thrive in a humus rich well watered soil but will cope well in poorer soils and are extremely dry tolerant if need be. Preferring a full sun position to show off their best, a partly shaded position will also produce good quantities of flowers every year. These clump forming plants are best left to naturalise, but make sure the clump is divided every 4-5 years to avoid overcrowding.
